The boys are coming home from war, and the bunting is out. It’s 1945 and even in little villages they are dancing in the streets. Welcoming our brave boys back are the local dance band, Georgie Seacole and his Merry Notes, and singing sensation the Bramante Sisters, not to mention the Squire, the Home Guard and the ARP Wardens. Now, as the girls shed their overalls for evening frocks, the boys turn their minds to the arts of peace, and how better than to fall in love! But some people need a little help from their friends…

OVO's ninth Shakespeare production marks our debut at the beautiful St Nicholas Church in Great Munden.

Much Ado About Nothing is part of the 2009 St Albans Festival.

There’ll always be an England’ sing the cast, to which I can wholeheartedly add, that I hope there will always be an OVO
